Every deposition carries costs beyond the attorneys' time. Many are charged per hour or per page, so a long deposition can cost far more than expected.

Common costs

  • Court reporter appearance fee, often hourly or by half day.
  • The transcript, usually priced per page, with extra for expedited delivery.
  • Videographer and video files, if recorded.
  • Interpreter, if needed.
  • Conference room rental, remote platform or travel.
