A professional email signature

A clear signature tells people who you are and how to reach you. For carriers and dispatchers, it should also carry the MC and DOT numbers.

A signature does quiet work in every email: it shows the company name, a phone number and, in trucking, the authority numbers brokers use to verify you.

What to include

  • Name and title.
  • Company name.
  • Phone and email.
  • Website.
  • For carriers and dispatchers: MC and USDOT numbers.

What to leave out

  • Long quotes and large images, which often land as attachments.
  • More than two phone numbers.

Keep it the same

Use the same signature on every device so brokers and clients always see the same details.

Our email signature builder makes one to paste into your email settings.
